Hello everyone! I'm new here and first time trying to revive a man older Carter Bros Go Kart. I bought a frame recently and want to rebuild it for my son. I only got the frame. I did get a steering wheel, predator engine, clutch. I want to order the drive wheel (5") and sprocket, brake drum.. the only problem is that I don't know what size sprocket or chain or what I need exactly. I know the clutch I order is for that engine. Plus my axle is 3/4.
I have on my cart to get a
2 piece steel wheel 3-1/4, 5/8 ID bearing Flnaged Hub
41/2 Brake Band
60tooth Steel Sprocket #35 chain. IS THIS ALL I NEED to get it going??

I just want to make sure that whatever I order it will all work. All feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've emailed the manufacturer and three parts companies but haven't heard anything back.

Difficult to say if that is all you need. How about you upload lots of pictures and let people here have a look.

Like do you have a DIYGK sticker yet?
Throttle / Brake Cables?

some 5/16" bolts/nuts to mount the engine with washers might be a good thing to get. Those other 3 wheels also typically have bearings on them of a certain inner diameter and outer diameter, with a flange or snap ring, or not.

60/10t for 41/420 or 72/12t for #35 give the same results in speed. I kinda prefer the 41/420 chain myself.

Here are two pictures of what I "THINK" I need. Anything else? Besides the tire?

Thanks for al info guys. I really appreciate it.

Ok I'll ad a brake drum. Do I need a sprocket holder? Or is that already on the rim that I have? I already have a cable for brake. I don't know what brake drum to get. They don't just make everything already assembled? Rim, sprocket, brake drum?
