Hello,
Newbie here. Have a 6.5hp Honda engine. Took off slicks from go cart and put on all terrain tires 18.5 x 6.50 - 8 rear & 16 x 6.50 - 8 on front. What would be the best ratio for sprockets? It used to go like snot, now have to give a push from behind to get it going front sprocket has 9 teeth and rear about 52 to 60 still taking them off. And will just change of Sprockets do the Trick!,! Along with proper chain length .

6:1 is usually the starting benchmark with that size tire. Get a 30 series torque converter/cvt from GoPowerSports or find GTC and order one off their 30 series. A CVT will be beneficial in that you start in a lower gear (something like 12:1 as an example, might be slightly higher or lower can't remember. A 6:1 would be a 10 on the cvt or clutch and 60 on the axle.

Your gear ratio is now too high because of the taller tyres. You will either have to gear lower with the centrifugal clutch or get a TC. A TC would probably be better
