I have an 82t sprocket on my rear axle and 11t sprocket on my clutch. I want to make it faster on the straightaways without sacrificing to much on accelerating. What is the best way to accomplish this? It is a racing go kart with a KT 100 engine.

increase clutch tooth count, or decrease rear axle sprocket tooth count (either/or, not both at the same time)

I would just get a rear axle sprocket (assuming its a race kart?) dont these sprockets come split in two so you just unbolt the existing one, then bolt on a new one?

If I was to reduce the rear sprocket, what size would get? 82t - ??? My sprocket is one piece besides the sprocket hub piece.

go slow, 3-4 Teeth will make a noticeable difference already.
usually split sprockets are used, and I'd suggest you'd swap to that;
the hub will most likely take them just as well.
and in case you want to try different set ups, you can easily mount them in the future ;)
