Hi guys I am doing the complete rear axle for my Yerfdog 3203 and am looking for good sprocket ratios in order to do a little bit of offroading from time to time (Mostly in mud and deep areas) but also want a good top speed on the streets

Thanks

Do you have the stock setup? (60taxle/10tjackshaft w/7" driven 30 series torque converter?

That's about the perfect ratio that will give 28 mph top speed and decent torque.

That's the exact setup on this kart with a predator 212cc engine.

Yes I have that set up but I am wondering if I add this assembly mounting plate from the tav 2 replacement for the comet if that will change any of the specs

yes it will and heres why

1) original yerf dog had a 7" driven unit, a 6" unit (that is in the TAV2 kit) will make it go slightly faster with just about the same torque upon start (just a little less).

2) if you want to keep the original plate mount, the belt in the kit may not match - double check the center to center distance (google comet belt chart) you will see what im talking about.

And what landuse was referring to, all else the same the original mount vs side plate it wont change anything at all.
