Sprocket hole to small. HELP!!!

I just bought a 40 tooth sprocket and was about to put it on when I realized the hole was too small! I have no idea how to fix this. Do you know how to fix it? please help

how small is too small? Do you have an old one? You could clamp the old one to the new one and use a die grinder to make the new hole bigger.

Just an idea.

are you talking about the hole in the middle that goes around the hub or w/e? I used the method above with a dremel and a grinding bit, but a die grinder would work much better.

Return it and get the correct sized one? If you can't then put it on a metal lathe, a Dremel or die grinder is no where near accurate enough.

If you have access to one, a brake cylinder hone with a steady hand will get it to fit nice and tight.
