Needed suggessions on what kind of spindle setup would be better???
first type

Those two examples are complete opposites, I'd suggest a combination of the two:
Include the caster, camber & ackermann but, have the bracket on the frame & the tube on the spindle

Could you provide the reason for choosing that type of setup..

1. More area to weld a steering arm on
2. Despite what that article says, it provides a natural bump stop for the steering (when set up correctly)
3. if you use the correct materials, you can create a setup where a removable bush can absorb all wear
