Spindle arms

Since the go kart accident Sunday I decided to try my hand at making new spindle arms instead of buying whole new spindle. Most seem to be 1/4 inch thick but I think I might double it. Still got to go pick up some steel.

Hole is a little off center but I don't think it will hurt.

I think IT will be OK . get your distance from spindle to center of drilled hole as close as possible. Use a center punch before drilling it will help to stop the bit from drifting.

I think it was my mark and not the drill. I had it clamp down on my drill press.
