Spidercarts mix and match

So my wife bought me the plans package from the spidercarts site. I like the front suspension of the Arachnid and the Grand Daddy, but also the single rear wheel of the Scorpion.

Would there be any drawbacks to using the Arachnid main frame with double wishbone suspension and couple it with the single wheel swing arm suspension of the scorpion all on the same Kart?

I just finished an arachnid build.....as to your question...I don't see the 3 wheel version as being very stable offroad . I can see it pulling out of control on a sidehill....not taking off-camber bumps very well...etc. I my humble opinion I just feel better ripping along with 4 wheels....Three wheel atvs were outlawed for a reason !

My rented 3-wheeler ATC in Panama City Beach drove over my own legs too, on their sand dune circle track. Bare feet looked like it must have been a 3-wheeler road grader instead of ATC.
Just as well though. Meant I had to spend the 3 days of my first honeymoon in bed, right where you're supposed to be spending it.
Need I say it? 3-wheelers ain't stable. Whether trike or reverse trike. You'll enjoy a 4-wheel gokart more.

I mean for real, late 70' early 80's birthday parties consisted of grills going with dad's drinking beer, moms drinking wine, disco thumping out of Boise 609's every adult smoking cigarettes and 8/13 year Olds on go Karts, mini-bikes, 3 wheelers, Honda odyssey and then bw200 bikes....as long as we showed up near night fall, all was good

Luckily Noone died, good thing we had several er doc moms around
