some engine idea's?

So I was browsing the interwebs last night, and came across these pretty neat USA engines. the website doesn't have a price, you have to contact them. But wow, would they make some pretty neat replacement engines, or even scratch built engines.

I'm not affiliated with the website or company at all, I just ran across them. thought depending on the price of the engines, MAYBE they're worth it in a gokart application or some sort along those lines.

I emailed them last night, No response it seems. I'll have to call them tomorrow.. I was reading about some "popping" issues with the twins, not much info on them, but someone said the 950 had small throttle body's and it was causing the engines to run lean, giving that typical lean mixture popping. but then went on saying, that they were made bigger? So I don't know.. I know its a small company, and I'm sure they don't got million dollar investors either, to hire the best engineers.

I'll try to get around to calling them tomorrow..
edit; I was reading on their facebookpage, that lots of people haven't been getting email responses. :0

A few things I noticed by looking at the pictures, the oil filter is on top? Why?
I'm also assuming that these are water cooled, because wouldn't aircooled have some sort of cooling fans?

Definitely look interesting. I really want to see some hp numbers and what they rev to.

They look like trials bike motors, like gasgas or the like. I could find much info on them though.

They're definitely liquid cooled. Look closely in some of the pic and you'll see the thermostat housing. The lack of cooling fins is a big hint.

If they did ANY of their own R&D, you can bet they've got million-dollar investors. Developing and producing an entire line of engines from the ground up does not come cheaply.

I am VERY skeptical of these guys. The website is almost completely devoid of information. No specs pages on the engines that I could find, testimonials, reviews, OEM's... Anything.

As for oil filter location... Doesn't matter where they are located, or in what orientation. While those look convenient as heck to get as, you can sure bet it would be messy as he// to change out.

These engines were designed by a man by the name of Mats Malmberg an ex Husqvarna engine designer that was killed in a airplane crash back in 2010 along with two of the companies top men that were working on marketing these engines.

Ahh!!! their you go a nice single cylinder diesel with a wide torque curve!
