I don't think so- I think with the motor controller circuitry, a solenoid is too archaic to be useful. Plus, there's no variability. A solenoid (relay) is either on or off.

It would probably help if you told us what you were planning.

id say u need some sort of relay surely u cant put that much current though a controll circuit

but the standard soleniod on a starter motor will burn up too quick
