Consider this:
When torque, and his friend traction get encourgement from their mischevious cousin throttle, stuff hits the fan.
Below is pics of 2 x 2 x.120 wall steel tubing, that was part of an engine mount.
everything was working well until it wasn’t. That was a .375 inch slot milled, then there was a .1875 thick backup plate that slid in there. So maybe even if you think its over built, it may not be.
Never underestimate the forces at work on these machines! Issac Newton figgered this stuff out years ago. Or maybe it was Fig Newton? Or Alfred E Newman? One of those guys wrote that E=MC2 s**t.
