Consider this:
When torque, and his friend traction get encourgement from their mischevious cousin throttle, stuff hits the fan.
Below is pics of 2 x 2 x.120 wall steel tubing, that was part of an engine mount.
everything was working well until it wasn’t. That was a .375 inch slot milled, then there was a .1875 thick backup plate that slid in there. So maybe even if you think its over built, it may not be.
Never underestimate the forces at work on these machines! Issac Newton figgered this stuff out years ago. Or maybe it was Fig Newton? Or Alfred E Newman? One of those guys wrote that E=MC2 s**t.

Only casualties (other than USAs finest salvaged steel) was about 250,000 pi**ed off yellow jackets. Seems the ugly material hit the fan at the precise moment required to coast to a stop on top of their new constructed camp.
After the buggy was retrieved we smoked em! Thats another story.l
Two of us got a total of 3 stings. The surviving bas***ds evacuated!
