I started karting in 1960 in Denver,Bought a Fox kart w/ Power Products engine.Raced at Armstrong Casters track and have gerat memories. Now 54 years later I'm at it again.I have kept the kart in a shed, about a month ago my 13 year old Grandson was in the shed looking for golf clubs and found the kart.Needless to say we are restoring it and plan to get him racing next year. What I'm looking for is Fox decals for the kart.If anyone can help, that would be great. Thanks Bob in Wichita

Never too old..... :lolgoku:
I think I just saw some of those repro fox stickers 2 nights ago, researching a different fox..... Let me see what I find. Post a pic of your kart. It might wake up some of the older karting enthusiasts brains......:cheers2:

Wow.. a 60's Fox.. please make a build-log of it, I loove vintage karts :D

Anyways.. decals, that'd be hard to find, but if you have a "rest" of your decals still at the kart, the best thing you can do is take a ton of high resolution photos.
with that and a lot of patience it'll be possible to restore them (make replicas) in case you cannot find a new set.

Doug Fox kart, not Manco (black/red/white Fox)
the company that made the famous Go-Boy kart...

(the one that's on the cover of Dennis' book ;))

Rdana, or are we talking about the AKRA and TIMKEN stickers...
I think you can find both rather easily searching the net..
not exactly the ones from the 60's but very close (different font type IIRC)

Over the years the kart has had three paint jobs, original color was red frame with a red seat and white inset.I'm going with yellow frame and all black seat. The decal was very simple,is read FOX GO-BOYand was oval shape.I am in the sand blasting the frame and having the rear axle, brake drum and foot pedals chromed.I will post the finished product(if and when that happens)to the forum.

that's a shame ...
oval hmmm

I know the shield shaped with the oval "IGA" inlet saying "Go-Boy Cart"

the oval shape I don't even know,
the 'speed' font (the one with the flares) or the simple 'round' font?
what color?
