look up kitty kats. they are or were made by arctic cat and a 6.5 pushes them pretty well. you may be able to find designs or something on the internet but i think kittykats are a good place to start looking

not worth the time and effort, its like building an atv. by the time everything is said and done you could easily buy yourself a production sled, which will be 100000x better.

Are quads really that cheap in America?

you can easily find a used, running or almost running (dirty carb/bad coil) atv for under $300. Same with sleds.

I picked up a snowmobile with broken handle bars and some bad bogie wheels for $125, it was a 1994, ran great, and only had 3600 miles on it. everything worked. I have less than $300 into my 1983 rm250, and its got a new top end, and she'll pull the front end up in every gear.

Over here $2000 will get you a beaten up(but running) 1980s farm quad! Even non running brand name bikes don't seem to go much less than $800, and that's for an old farm quad, anything sporty wont go for less than $3000.

Or course there is Chinese quads but 250cc ones of those don't seem to go under $800 (they are usually $1000 plus), little 110s are about $600 at the cheapest.

Basically the only way to get a really cheap quad is to go around to farms and ask if they've got a dead quad you can buy.

You guys have it so lucky with the cost of stuff, everything is so much more expensive over here even though our dollars are almost worth the same, it sucks :/

Thanks
