Snowmobile engine

I know i have something about them in my "kart build" thread, but I'm not getting any replies. Anybody know anything about these? Or know of anyone that would? The link is the only helpful image or link i could find.

You may well have had no replies because nobody here knows. Beyond being an engine that relies on basic engine principles, I don't know anything about them either.

Just wondering if anyone know anything about the engines in the link that's in the first post.

I dont know anything about those engines, but i can say that you would be better off buying a more common sled engine.

I got this one given to me from a guy i know, he said he has a couple different sled engines. I took this one out of the two he brought because it looked like it would be easier to get going, but it turns out it needs to be totally rebuilt. I'm putting it back together and going to give it back and going have him bring up one of the other ones. He said he has one that turns over he will bring me.
