newbie here with a question,,,, are snowblowers horizontal or vertical shafts,, do they make good cart motors :devil2:

thanks for the response,,,,,,,,,,,,,, am asking cause am going to look at one today ,,, and i don't want a vertical one ,,as you no i need another engine for my project,,,,, so that being said is there a quick check i could do to see if it is vertical ,,,or horizontal

i had an 8hp Tecumseh and it was one of the best motors i ever had and it came from a snowblower

am still waiting for the lady to call me back to go look at the thing,,,,this is the ad '' used last year, not turned on this year, person said spark plugs need cleaning and or replacing and should work, only want $50.00 as is ''' so it sounds like its a good deal ,just to get the engine from it

is there a quick check i could do to see if it is vertical ,,,or horizontal

Pretty simple. If the pull start comes off the side of the engine, it's a horizontal shaft. If it comes off the top of the engine, it's a vertical.

Does your comma button stick? Just sayin'.
