You should contact BMI for a replacement part. Also post up some specs and a picture of your setup so we can determine if the plate broke from a manufacturing defect, or being overloaded.

i don't have any pics right now i tore it all the way down to a frame last night after being pissed.
I bought the kit from a local carting shop Russels Karting In Belton Mo, I talked with a gentleman there and he said he would replace the kit. I will post up a few pics of the setup when i get everything swapped out and put back on the gokart.
Is there any benefit to the Stamped Steel overcast or are they about the same strength wise?

As far as specs i forgot them.
8hp Honda
10 tooth off the jackshaft
48tooth on the Axle
4.8 ratio biggest i can run with tire and wheels
Gokart is J&J Amusement Scorpion I removed atleast 120lbs of extra weight but its still a heavy turd.
This gokart Came with a wetclutch Which i still have and might sell if wanted but it was really fast with that setup and the tav setup does not have the top end i was hoping for might have been my Rpm's the spring was pretty stretched out i shortened it up a bit and the motor sounds healthier now but i can't test it since the tav broke...

Sounds like you might be overloading the TAV a bit. Can you give us your rear tire OD, weight of the cart with driver, and some information on where your riding.

The cast back plate is stronger tan the stamped steel one.

I don't have anything constructive to say about your torque converter problem, but it's nice to see that I have a neighbor on this forum now. I'm in Osceola, MO.

I haven't the slightest clue on weight never weighed it and don't have a way to. I know its heavy but my yerf dog was very heavy as well and i never had a issue with it except it was mounted to a steel plate under the motor.
I think maybe the chain was off a bit After looking at the chain it appears twisted?
I am gonna give it a try tonight I have a Way to take some stress off the setup i believe!
I am riding it on mostly flat grassy areas i built this for mainly road use
