Hey guys,

My sister is selling her Opel Corsa and she asked me to clean her up a little bit. I saw it had 2 rust spots, one quite long at the front and one round spot, around the wiper mount.

Well, pictures says it all!

I first cleaned the rust very toroughly with a steel brush, then I put some repair kit on it. I made it all smooth with some really fine sandpaper, which took me over 2 hours! :ack2:

Anyhow, it turned out really nice after 3 layers of paint. ;) No buyer will be able to see the repair. :wai:

I'm very sorry that I forgot to take pictures where you could see the ACTUAL rust spot... Sorry. :mad2: :mad2:

I guess I'm going to polish it a little bit, so the whole area looks cleaner. ;)

Regards,
Alex

Nice work for an amateur :D

One or two tips for next time:
1. If you look closely at the pic of the painted wiper mount you can see the edge of the filler across the top; not quite rubbed down enough but still a great job
2. Filler, primer then paint
