The guy actually sat on it as-is, with stock motor and rode it around his shop. He's about 6 feet tall, plus a few inches maybe. If the two-smoke adds some decent power, it could be fun no matter how uncomfortable.

Part Deux. Always good DIY content:

Edited to add: looks like he is retaining the chainsaw more or less intact so it could return to duty cutting wood.

The valves are too shrouded, too small and 2 too many. It has been proven that any more than 4 valves per cylinder hurts flow.
Take a tecumseh 3hp engine block and a Tecumseh 5hp engine block to another part of the earth and ask them to cut it out of billet would probably cost less then one American $100 bill… Whatever that would equal out to in there currency.

Bring that billet tec block back to the states and ask around prices to get it copied. You looking at a 10 run minimum with a hefty price tag each block. Someone looking to make $8k+ easy to copy the cheap 3rd world block.

So cheap down there they can just experiment and it doesn’t matter. I’m 1000% jealous..

Looks like something the GY6 racers in east Asia would do.

It's also possible to have so much flow potential that you can't spin the engine high enough to get useful velocity through the ports. I see what I would consider a number of compromises that don't seem curious given the amount of work going into the head. Valve stems are pretty big diameter as is the spark plug.
