I have been riding around on a 2005 Dingo over the summer with a 7hp Subaru. We logged over 1000 miles from Feb. to Aug. in the dust, rain, snow and heat (upper 90's). I ride with a group of friends and we all have a blast; we stay up all night and just have a good time overall. Our riding trips our usually 4 days long and we stay at a hunting club which my friend's dad is a member of. The only thing Ive done to the engine are override the gov. so it limits the revs to 4500 RPM, exhaust, air filter, and advance the timing maybe only a degree. The kart holds up but Im outgrowing it and want more power. So over the winter me and my dad plan to do just a little work that I figured Id post about. This post it probably as much for us as it is just to share, so we can look back and see what kind of progress we made. We plan on extending it about 6 inches: Im growing and its getting a little cramped. I also just bought a 9HP Subaru. Were going to get it set up with a 40 series TC and try to make everything fit on the back of a little dingo. I plan on just putting exhaust on the new motor and overriding its gov. also. Maybe ill drill a few holes around the air filter cover for more flow, but nothing major. So here are some pics and vids from this year. Its holding up strong for all the miles and crap its been through for a yard kart. Progress will be slow, but I figure its just one more thing for people to check out when they come on the forums at night! lol
With my old UNI and w/o the exhaust. I dont have a pic currently how it is.

I wish they made a cam for the subies. My present to Amanda was a seatbelt lol Ive been close to flipping but I dont know how she hasnt yet. So I bought us both one. Mine has been broke since I bought the kart. I can say for sure that its gonna be one hell of a loud engine with the new exhaust. My dad put the one he bought on the log splitter and its pretty loud stock. I cant wait. Back up sprockets are on order next.
