Small diesel engines

Whats a good site or place to check out small diesel engines?
Northern tool, Harbor Freight, and Surplus center have pretty big prices, any ideas?

Any suggestions on what engine to get? Under 40Hp and cheap?

Mud rig, I need something to turn 2 to 4 hydraulic pumps, and an alternator.

I personaly hate yanmars there pain in the asses to work on
we got one down in diesel shop in my school(im going to be switched to that next marking period) but it came in with a first problem no compression. turns out it was a broken rod after 300 hours. after that was fixed it craped out again on them. the piston cracked down the skirt its so freaking thin the wall was around 1/8 so they just scraped the **** thing

perkins is really the only cheep ones i can think of that are small but i dont remember what model yanmar it was down in shop that sucked but perkins are the only i can think off i can talk to some of my freinds who know more about the types and what not that are avalible.

hehehe some VW's have 4 cylinder diesel motors and a 5 speed tranny
i think jetta's?

Ive got a lister 8hp I run it of cooking oil and hidralic oil got 3000 hours on it starting from cold is a pain tho
