Alright, I have another kart that doesn't have the motor on it. I am going to see how many teeths that sprocket has. Might be able to use that one :) But if not i am going to order a 72t sprocket.

And
torque converter I dont have enough money to get one of those.

Look on your local Craigslist and ask if they would part them out. I found one that needed a belt and a set of $8 springs for $40. It's an older model but it surely beats a cent. clutch.

72 tooth might not be enough, especially if you're offroading (like you've been saying). I'd go even further than that... 84 tooth. Your top end will indeed suffer, but you'll get more usable torque at lower revs. Top end won't be disappointing, it won't be as fast as before.

And with your junked governor, I'd be careful of overrevving, floating valves, and bending valves.

I think i might just try the 72t because the off-roading is not nothing extreme. Just little stuff, and i still ride on the street. So basically i do both i would say.

Yeah i am careful when i go off-road not to over rev sense i have removed the governor.
