skiing vs. snowboarding survey

in my math class we're doing an assignment where we need to collect data for a survey question that each group makes up. my group decided to do skiing vs. snowboarding. I thought that we'd get more data if I posted it here.

question: Do you prefer downhill skiing or snowboarding?
hypothesis: Adult prefer skiing over snowboarding more then students?
null hypothesis: There is no difference between adults and students with respect to their interest in skiing.

all we need to get from each person is if they prefer skiing or snowboarding and if they are an adult or a student (under 18).

please help us out!

well, I forgot to bring in the data that I collected from starting this thread into school today so it was useless. woops. i'll take a picture of the graph and post it because I can't figure out another way. the results are (from a different set of data): there are more people who prefer skiing then snowboarding and age dose matter. the probability of getting these is about 52% so we decided that this proves the null to be true; there is no difference between adults and students with respect to their preference for skiing and snowboarding.

Mmmmm well i just want to say here that Snowboarding is also good i have no experience in snowboarding because i am ardier of surfboarding in the biggest dppe ocean waves and the snowbaording is on ice and snow this is difficult than surfbaording but still good game for play..
