Ski doo engine sell price?

I have an only ski doo 440 tnt 2 stroke 40hp engine, it runs, needs carb clean, new clutch, and pull start fixed? How much you think i could sell it for? How much if i fixed the pull start? And included a working clutch?

Not much, most people want the sled to.

if you included the whole system with the working clutch and the engine ran flawlessly then you could probably get around 150-200 bucks.

Now that were in the DIY world its dangerous to have those engines. Theres gangs that run around the streets taking out people who have those engines... For everyones safety i think you should just give me the engine for free and pay for shipping to my door. ITs whats best for everyone. lol

I think he should get it as far away from Rhode Island as he can....like St. Louis! Seriously, I paid $200 for an entire sled that was rolled. I bought it just for the engine. But realize, we don't have much snow in St. Louis and sleds (and their engines) are hard to come by.

Those are older engines so sale will be harder. Not many 70's sleds around. A replacment motor for my yamaha enticer sled ody is only $200 average. Not many parts to this sled on Ebay. You may do better parting it out. IMO from looking at ebay real fast.
