I got some 3/8" ID clear silicon tubing to use as vent tubing for my 440 Duromax. Very flexible nice stuff. It says it's good for like 390 degrees for 10 hours. I have no idea what temp oil vapor is. Is this going to work or should I get something else? Thanks

Like Denny said, it's fine.
It's not handling as much heat as you may think, and it's fuel lines you have to be more selective about because everything clear (color tinted or not) hardens; even the stuff that claims it doesn't, some just take longer.

I prefer black neoprene based automotive tubing for anything that needs to handle gas or oil.
