Just keeping you guy's updated on the stuff i have been building

This one is a One legged Grocery Outlet Bargain Market Kart I found on the creek path near my house while on a walk with my kids so i loaded them up in it and brought it home ..
It has a Honda Gc160 that someone left in front of my garage that was connected to a pressure washer

I think i only spent around $200 on everything i needed from Amazon and BMI with most things as you can see with the fire extinguisher muffler, were recycled junk found around my garage and repurposed

I don't know yet, I have to redo the steering...
But it should be able to turn on a dime because i cut the rear axle in half and made it one wheel drive

I'd suggest drilling some more holes in the end of that choking muffler, but it's already probably unsafe at whatever speed it can get to as is.
That top speed can be reduced and the clutch's life saved by replacing that little axle sprocket with a larger one. By my count it looks like about a 40-tooth.
Thought that gas tank hanging on the back was a first-aid kit at a glance. Would be a good idea to add one, that thing is scary-looking.

I was thinking the same thing about the exhaust... It looked a little restrictive..... I'll open them up today
the rear sprocket is a 35 tooth and the front is 12 tooth with 16" rear wheels with an ungoverned engine and no brakes yet
HA HA HA ! I just did the speed calculations and it read 64mph HA HA HA !
that is a little scary..... I'll use a helmet and have band aids all ready to go in my pocket

That little sprocket is going to burn up your clutch before you ever get used to trying it out. Pitch that tiny thing and get at least a 60-tooth on there. Going to a 72-tooth might even let you graduate down from a broken tibia to just a busted elbow.
What are you going to do about that mason jar lid you've got for a brake disc? The bigger the disc, the stronger the brakes. (Using an 8" with hydraulic caliper myself.) Lotta go needs a lotta whoa!

I know i was thinking about getting a new sprocket for it but I'm just working with what i have on hand The mason jar lid is just a hub for where the the disc break is supposed be sometime in the near future .... but for now i was breaking like the Flintstones... That reminds me i need a new pair of shoes

Ok i redid the front end over the weekend and beefed it up a little
I still have to get breaks and hook up the throttle

Wow. Never seen a dual tierod setup like that before. Hope you don't slam into anything hard enough to actually need that much to keep things from bending. Endo? Is that how you spell it? Short tires into immovable object. Face on the bottom, upside-down cart on top.
BTW, that tiny steering "wheel" will be hard to hold straight under most any circumstances. Have you considered something of larger diameter yet?

This is the bigger steering wheel. You should see the other one i had on there, it came off of a razor ground force electric go kart, it was almost half that size... it can't get any bigger because the basket gets in the way

Let me bite my tongue here...........ouch.
I'm the poster boy for excessive over-building, and get caught up in it.
Now, after you go bounce that thing around a bit and get the feel for it, think of the "is the juice worth the squeeze" adage and decide if a steering shaft extension is a good idea. You could fit a wagon wheel on it then if you wanted to. If you can remote your butt to make room for that.
A good idea: A 6' stick of some common pre-split foam pipe insulation for $4 can cover that wheel, look good, improve grip, save your front teeth.
