I have e Carter Super Wheels with the jackshaft and looking to upgrade the belt clutch to a torque converter. I believe that based on the jackshaft orientation that the driven unit will need to mounted inboard. Can this one be installed inboard and if so would it need to be altered in some way to do so?

Here's my cart:
It is a one-wheel-drive currently running 13x5.00-6 tires. With a goverened engine it tops out at almost exactly 20mph with the current setup. From what I understand they were sold optionally with Torque Converters from Carter but not sure exactly what components were used. Thanks!
