Sooo.... I kinda just want some ideas from others on really anything you can point out, other than my kinda crappy welding. Keep in mind that because I had to switch high schools, transportation time between my new school and my old schools' shop cuts out half of my work time, so measurments dont hold as much importance as they should, but I DO use a tape measure...

I dont really know much about frame design or building, but maybe you could do some more reinforcement in the back. Where the engine is going I assume. That looks like it could be a little weak. Other than that I like it a lot! What engine are you planning on using?

I would worry about tipping on some sharp corners. it looks pretty tall and skinny. And yea like my dingo buddy NJOHC said, some more reinforcements in the back. Cross welding bars are SOOO helpful

Yeah, the reinforcements have just begun, as evident by the cross brace behind the drivers cab. And I haven't finished flaring the sides out yet either. As far as the back goes, (and yes, NJOHC that is where I'm planning on placing my engine) I'm just going to cut off probably most of it, as I have just been informed that I might be recieving two shocks.... I would much prefer a swingarm. Bu tif not, then yes, I was totally going to put a ton more reinforcements into it. I'm just trying to get my basic shape done first, then I'll reinforce it all. I don't want to reinforce as I go, and then find out that I did something wrong, and have to waste THAT much more metal.

You should put a snowmobile engine in it. It would also be pretty cool with double A arms up front. Haha.

Those were my plans.... But alas, my parents said no to that steal of a quad. And I have looked high and low, Craigslist and otherwise, and I CANNOT afford ANY of those sleds out there...sigh...

oh a nice little 5hp. Me and hunter are building snowmobile engine karts. You can almost say its a battle of the karts! ahhaah but yea along with the shock. I might pick up a motorcycle rear shock and make it a rear swinger... who knows?

EX-FRICKEN-ZACTLY! That's what Ive always thought of.. and when I was even younger, I wanted to mount a paintball gun on each side. My original plan was all black, but I have since been swayed towards military colors... ie; Khaki and black.
