Shocks

OK my i been wanting why car shock aren"t used on karts.Most of the kart shocks are short.And I need something longer than 12inches.

Automotive shock absorbers do nothing more than dampen movement; they provide no deflection. What you need is a light-duty coil over shock.

i am going to try a set off the front of a snowmobile. they have about 10" of travel!

I took the rear shocks off of a late 80's honda 80cc dirtbike. They are hydraulic and are perfect on the front of my murray kart. I think they are 12".

Ok they are 11.5" eye to eye.
