I had a thread earlier this year about building a shifter kart chassis to fit a 250cc, have the engine but am looking for a frame to modify rather than making a frame from scratch can anyone help me out by telling me of any good deals they run across.

Your local Craigslist is probably the best bet. Do you plan on racing competitively or just karting for fun? If it's for fun, an outdated (could be outdated in 5-10 years) but still excellent condition and usable frame can be had for $150 or so.
