Shifter Kart Maybe

In order to have a shifter kart does it have to be a small frame? I have a murray explorer go kart frame and i was thinking of putting something fast on it but i thought it would be to big

No it does not have to be a small frame. I'm currently working putting a KZ250 on a yerf dog 3203. As long as you are able to set it up where everything functions correctly you should be fine. Take a look at what raposak is currently building! It's bada$$!!

By shifter do you mean like x number of speeds or a gearbox with f/n/r?

Uhmm, basically x number of gears, basically the same gears on a motorcycle

Oh that shouldnt be too hard. Its a bigger axel and probbly a bt of an odd looking setup but it should work nicely
