I am already having to cut and chop so a little more won't hurt. Imo. I am New to this with very little knowledge about fabricating. I have friends with knowledge and experience plus I'm pretty quick on picking things up. However if it is more trouble than it's worth.........any input and help is appreciated

You could use a riding lawnmower transmission like this guy and turn the engine sideways

If you cut a racing or otherwise gokart frame, there might be steering issues. Ackerman and so on.

I thought about that but from my limited research on heymow seems like it wouldn't work for my application . However i m still not ruling it out .
