Anyone have a Shed Shop for working on there karts/toys?

I made more room in my garage to work but even then i feel a backyard Shed would make more sens for tools. So i can dedicate the space to shop tools and a workshop space.

what sheds do people use?
Post pics some.

i start looking around hopefully someone has a good cheap shed or home built shed at low cost?

I used to have a shed for storage & worked in the garage; since moving, again, i work in a garage... until now...

On my latest trip back to Sydney, my brother agreed to pay* to ship the rest of my belongings in a 20' shipping container which I'm now setting up as my machine shop; as with the shed, it is mostly for storage but, it also contains my bench & my lathe for now, although, that will probably change...

*When I say my brother paid, that is, until my mothers' estate is finalised & he will be reimbursed from my share of the estate...

Surprisingly, they're not as expensive as many may think; I picked up mine, a class B, certified for shipping, for $1500 AUD; I could've bought cheaper but, the company I went through arranged everything including sourcing the container, certification & transporting it to Warwick once it was loaded...

I found, the most important thing is to make sure it sits on a completely level platform, whether it's a concrete slab or 6 8"x8"x2-4" hardwood pads; if it's not completely level, the doors will stick & bind, we found that out the hard way, we needed a 15lb sledgehammer to close the doors on what we thought was flat level ground...

Check your local Codes!
I have a 40 foot container. (Storage Junk)
Just last week on the Neighborhood Facebook page a lady had a 20 Footer delivered.
Before she could paint it and plant Bushes to pretty it up. Some Dingus neighbor called the County and she had to remove it!
They are not legal to have on Residential Property in my County.

Keep in mind my neighborhood is Large 1 acre Average sized lots. "Horse Properties"
Lucky for me I have cool neighbors. There are lots of these in the neighborhood. Just depends on if you get caught.

I think someone would notice a 40' container in my front or back yard. Hmmmm. Yah maybe a storage shed for all the random stuff and make the garage the shop, would be easier for me.

I'm only on a 6000' lot

All I have are sheds..

What I "manufacture" in them is MY business and nobody elses...especially law enforcement.

JK!!!!!!JK!!!! No...really!!! I'm just kidding. I do all my cooking in the kitchen or on a grill or smoker...and it's FOOD!!!!

(Chancer is probably sending the DEA my address as we speak)...that chump!!!

Without insulation they must be super hot in the summer time.

Hmm, I should ask work what they did with the shipping containers....we used to have a bunch for storage in the back.

Problem with giveing her the shed is the wash and dryer hookups are in the garage. If we had indoor wash room the garage would be all mine!

Maybe a tree fort shop! She hates high places. Freedom!

hmmm....maybe i could wall me off? no doors no windows! Prison!

But maybe not a bad idea to get some welding curtains and block off my area. you know everything but the washer/dryer. hmm. 8'X18' should be enough for washer/dyrer block off. door is right next to them. so from door around them to garage door should be good enough.

ah man garage door. so i cant go to roof... maybe 6' tall is enough. actually hehe, she is only 4'10" so 5' would keep her out.

looks about $25 shipped per 6'x6' vinyl curtain. so about $100 should do it. 24x6 ?
