hmm, this question has been bothering me, i know that most engines are set to a relative idle speed, i was wondering where would i attatch the cable to rev the engine (gas pedal), along the governer?

i have worked with engines before, but never was i the one to set up the throttle.

i havnt purchased the engine yet.

im sure everyone here knows thats a noobie question, but i just dont want to pull on something else.

:useless:

:iagree:

If you buy it, they will hook themselves up! :arf:

When you get your engine you'll probably see how to do it. All engines have a throttle, the governor just keeps it so it doesn't rev past a certain RPM. Show some pics when you do. :iagree: :useless:

is it that thing connected to the handle on a lawnmower? You know, the thing that you keep pressed down so the mower doesn't shut off?

That just grounds/ungrounds the engine. ("one speed engines")

im not going for any hightech engine, my teacher is using the classroom budget for the engine, so its probably gonna be one of those 120 dollar engines
