On an item that big, I'd source a freighter first. That way you can list shipping price also. And have it lined up.
First, I'd say DHL. My aunt works for their commercial and gets Benz through customs and all that mess. If they can't won't, they could suggest someone or an option.

Uhoh..

First post and it's about "selling stuff" plus you have a nick that closely resembles one of our trusted and well respected members.
That is NOT a good start!

Anyways, to answer your question:
try uship dot com

I see that website popping up every now and then when I'm searching for specific kart pics... and it appears to be a good choice in most occasions to ask for shipping quotes,
since a kart is way too big to just put a stamp on it and call it a day ;)

Another advice:
Do not post your ebay links here.
Not until you filled out your profile (proper location, real name (at least real first name) etc.)

Your username can be considered lure, and we want to make sure it's just a coincidence, right ;)

The name was not meant to be a lure, i work on karts and fabricate. I am just on this page to get some questions answered. I prefer not to waste my time on forums ... instead i just do.
Thanks for helping me

Sure thing,
I totally see where that's comming from of course;
it's just that coincidentally similar name and the selling topic together that made Admiral Ackbar scream ;)

And your first try would have been much easier to respond to,
this one raised a handfull of eyebrows as you can see :lolgoku:

Here's why:
"I do not waste my time on forums"
- prefectly fine.. not register on forums, do not provide or ask for information, just stay absent.

"I prefer not to waste my time on forums"
- not a good statement after registering to a forum and asking for help,
it can be read as "I want you to answer my question, but I will not provide any information in return; if you ask for it or not"

Yeah, you do not waste much time on forums, thus you might not be aware of the fine details about how communication on an internet platform like this works.
I'm fairly certain you meant "I handpick the forums I care to spend time on" instead, right?
:D

Why don't you just use Craigslist or a similar localized market so you don't have to ship?

Because you can get better prices on a national market depending what it is and the intrests out there. I sell rockhounding equipment. How many of those guys you know locally? They will shell out the bux but probably not right in your area.

That's cool... I haven't heard that word in a long while now...
I also stepped down my rock collecting to less than that of a dull dull roar.... Kinda makes me sad... But stone is heavy... Moving stones is alot of work.

Sorry for the miss wording, i have poor writing skill, i meant i prefer to learn hands on instead of reading and looking online. This forum is very intersting and helpful, and not at all a waste of time.
