selling minibikes

If i were to buy one of the minibike kits for $250 or $350 for a bigger kit, put a 6.5 clone engine in them and sell them unused, how much could i aim for? 500 bucks? maybe more?

front forks have shocks, knobby tires headlight.. good lookin bike has a TAV on it too

that is exactly why i wanted to sell a few minibike kits. Not for a career, just for some fun earned cash.

it's gonna be hard to compete with chinese labor. you can get an X-18 for $420 not shipped, $520 shipped and with some mods and tweaks/parts, it can even be street legal. http://www.motopowersports.com/image/x18 super bike.jpg (link is for pic only, not the price on that site)
i got mine for $360. tops out at 50mph stock, comes with lights, horn, disc brakes etc...

just saying, dont want to see you invest $$$ and have a hard time selling the first. you'd be better off buying a couple of these bikes, making them street legal, and selling them as such for premium, i see people actually sell these for 700 to 900 when registered, and it only takes mirrors, a plate holder, and tires in most states.
