so I am gonna have a new 6.5hp clone 3/4 clutch for a difference of 60 bux.. and then sell my old 8hp briggs for

Picked up 2 of them..

96 bucks plus tax..

almost got it finish mounted.. tried to remove governor.. took side cover off and Cam fell out

put cam back in lined up dots of course..

wound up not fooling with governor had to take flywheel off. didnt wanna fool with that today.

soooooo.. I also bought new sprocket got a 5:1 ratio (all they had what can I say)

the wife had MORE fun then I did

60 tooth drive 12 clutch tires are 11" tall.. oh and 1 wheel peel equals RUTS IN THE YARD LIKE A DIRTBIKE.

Why did you have to take the flywheel off for the governor? If the cam fell out that means the engine was already opened up. Shouldnt you have been able to get to the governor from there?
