Seat / Throttle Cable

Not sure if anyone has had this problem before or not. But, The seat frame on my kids 2 person yerf dog has this little lip on the bottom of it. Everytime we try and move the seat up that lip hits the throttle cable and pushes it forward. I am trying to figure out away around this. Thought about just filing it down with a file but that would take quite a long time. Maybe take a drimle to it. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before and what might of been done to correct the issue.

I am thinking of just putting some washers or something between the brackets and seat frame to lift it up a little bit

Ah, yeah, they're pretty hi res; obviously, you have a pretty good camera. Any chance you can get some more pics from a bit further away; I don't know about anyone else but, I can see the problem but I don't know how it affects you because these pics are too close
