seat on top of engine

hey so i want to put a seat pan on top of the engine (hf predator 212) and i was thinking that removing the gas tank and making a mounting plate for the seat would be a good way to go about it...my question is would this be good/safe way to do it?

i dont really have a sketch but basically make a mount that will go where the gas tank would go and then put the seat pan.

its really about trying to make it as compact as i can...again not mounting the seat directly to the engine...a mount first and then the seat...
