we were cruising last night and began a 3 bike race. we made it to a curve where we were going full throttle. all of a sudden my my friend (who was driving the Roper) starta to wobble and sparks flying everywhere. we found out that the bearing popped off the wheel which made it wobble on the axle. can i just get new bearing or do i need a new wheel assembly. how can o fix this? its a 4 bolt split wheel.

Sounds like a simple spun bearing. As long as he stopped and didn't continue riding and rubbing metal on metal, the wheel should be fine.

Replace the bearing and ride on.

Replace with a decent ball bearing...
The bearings you have there failed as they were pressed sheet metal... Just not meant not to handle higher speeds and rougher use...

oh ok. do yall happen to know what size bearing those are

Don't you?

I would assume it's the old standby 5/8" ID x 1-3/8" but that's a gamble...

Measure it.

Hellion is correct on the bearing size. If the new bearing fits loose or sloppily in the wheel, you may have to find another wheel.
