Mini Trucker
Hi hello all. My name is Seacrest and I am happy to join this forum. I've always had an interest in anything with motors and wrenching. I live in Las Vegas and am part of the World Wide car/truck club "Freaks Of Nature" I have hand built my bagged and body dropped right hand side mini truck and am willing to fabricate anything to reach my goals.
AS FOR MY KART!!! I have been doing as much research as I can. From the identification plate on my kart, it shows BKS Fun Karts. and the sticker on the kart says "Ground Hawg" From what I have found. BKs was involved in a lawsuit and the karts were recalled.
I know, a picture is worth a thousand words and I thought I had some saved on my laptop here at work. Turns out I don't, I will post some pictures when I get home later tonight of my actual kart but it is identical to this one owned by Fran Golbie http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=13806
HOWEVER!!! The only difference is that my kart appears to be a dual engine kart from the factory. Two 6.5hp honda motors, two throttle cables, two sprockets on the live axle and even two kill switches mounted on the steering wheel down tube.
Needless to say, this kart SCOOTS!!! can burn doughnuts like a drifter car. It fun to throw the back end around and get the tires sliding.
