ive been working on this for a couple of months. its coming along pretty good. only need to add some handle bars, two more tubes on the triple trees, a seat, the clutch/chain and then its time to ride. let me knw what you guys think.

i will probly end up painting it. i wanna do red on all the flat plates and black for the frame. i think it will look cool.

i took some pictures of my new airfilter and throttle control i made.
i used a goped swivel attachment. i just put the cable through and used some visegrips to sench it closed on the cable. it works great. i had to drill out the butterfly valve one size bigger tho. no big deal. the new airfilter makes it run nice.

so i decided to make my own hub and it worked. but after riding it hard for the past few days the bolts/spacers are twisting.. i am going to buy a hub. what would you guys suggest?
also please dnt judge me on my welds on that flange.the *******s in my shop changed my setting when i was welding it up.. i tig welded the back and it is strong.. i took a picture of the welds i made on the frame to redeam myself. haha.
so where would you suggest i get one of these double flanged hub for my wheel and sprocket?

i also removed the EPA rebreather tube that recycles air back into the air filter. i noticed a black spot on the filter so i just put a rubber cap on it. am i going to have any problems because of this?

Ah The sprocket spacers, I did the same thing, and the same thing happened to me. What if you were to weld squares inbetween the spacers? so it'd be like a box bolted to the wheel basically, and the corners of the box are tubes.

yea.. i had that idea but i thought the 10 dollars for a new hub would be best because i had a lot of play with my bearings and axel. plus it was real ugly. haha. thanks for the suggestion tho.

Yea, on the little bike me and my friend built, we just ended up buying a minibike wheel with hub. 10 dollar TSC wheels with holes drilled in em weren't lasting but 5 minutes at 40mph.. :arf:

hahah. yea. i had mine at 37 and i was ****ting my pants! especially when it threw the chain!!the hub i bought was a little short so i had to move the wheel over the compensate. i just got a job at a machine shop as a stainless steel tig welder so i will make a jackshaft assembly. i just dnt knw what a good tooth count would be. i have 12 on the clutch and 60 sprocket. what should i use in between them?
