No not at all, and like you said, it dies due to being clogged. Its not a carb problem. Also, why is the the coolest thread on the site? Im not saying its not a cool project but theres only 21 posts and like 4 pictures. Search around. There are some CRAZY proejects on here

LOL wut? Umm, I would have a lot more to worry about at this point if I already had kids.

Let me put it this way, my mom and stepdad looked at me funny when I carried all this **** into my room to work on.

LOL i don't know if your 13 or a lowlife 26yo like me
i was wondering how are you going to mount a sprocket on to that square jack shaft
i've always wanted to do the belt clutch setup like that i bet it's going to launch hard

If I get a piece of 1" square tube the right thickness, it slides right over that shaft, and I'll weld the sprocket to it.

i just remembered be careful starting it i pulled an engine off a lawn mower and put it on a small tractor and i found out that they have light flywheels because of the blade once you ditch the blade it becomes scary to start. i'd go to pull it and half the time it would pull back and try to take my arm off or my fingers you also my incounter the starter handle pooping off when you kill it depending on your starter setup

So I hauled this piece to school today, intending to work on it during our extra long shop class (exam schedule don't work for classes that don't do finals). The good MIG was being used the entire time, so I didn't get to weld the rear end on until I got home (yay ****ty flux core). But I did finally track down a mill bit in shop, so I screwed around a bit.

(why does my phone take better pics than our $300 digi cam?) :roflol:

That thing looks pretty good, for a scrap project.

Good luck getting a gasket to seal on that surface tho, looks pretty uneven, i would have used a much larger end mill (or preferably one of those 3 tip carbide cutters), how much did you take off total?

That was the only end mill we had. The surface is even and flat, just rough. Took probably .030-.050 off, didn't really measure. Took the gasket surface down even with the piston dome, then lowered it some more.

Finished up my exhaust, 1 free internets if you can guess what it is made from.

Built a stem also.

I hate JB Weld. Went to bolt up the carb, and my modified intake broke. :mad2:

My guess is electrical conduit for the exhaust pipe.....

I really haven't done anything since I broke the intake.
The exhaust it made from old bmx-style bike handlebars. Makes for nice premade bends.

*laffs* Old BMX handlebars?? Well, if it works .....

Any chance on fabbing up an intake? I mean, why not? Shouldn't be that hard to trace the flanges on some steel, and cut it out, weld it to either end of some pipe ...

It has to curve a bit though. The one I made out of some old manifolds would've worked nicely if it was held together with something more structural than JB Weld.
