Keep an eye on the bracket you welded to the pipe. I always see cracks in those spots. I have also had bad luck welding on pipes. Not sure if I am doing it right though.
I'm on the very edge of town and I just run it on backroads, old railroad beds, etc. Haven't run into any problems that way.
That weld on the pipe has broken on me once, rewelded and it's been okay. The plan is to add another bracket somewhere before I paint, as well as replace the front section of pipe with something heavier and with a little sharper curve to keep farther away from the seat when the suspension is at full compression.
