So I got 4 new engines to fiddle with, all nice and old.

3 briggs, and a Clinton 2 stroke. They are pretty cool...

Heres pics of a Briggs.

Engine number 2... also a briggs.

I think this would be the easiest to get running, looks to be the most complete.

The kick start! Also briggs.

This one would be fun to have running, but is missing stuff from the carb... might be $$$, not sure.

And the Clinton.

Would be nice to get this one running too.
It turns over, but getting closer to the top of the stroke it gets tight.

So then, what can you people tell me about all these engines?
Got em all pretty cheap, so if I decide to sell some off, I can make my money back easy... :D

i like briggs 2 and 3 a lot. i like the gas tank on briggs 2 but a kick start briggs in a bike would be awesome

Not too hard I dont think, Would like to put a kick start on my 11hp briggs... :arf:

Whats the model # of that clinton ?

Serial No. Model HP

X 198925 G VS200AOS

Now I assume its 2hp?

The Clinton also looks to be complete, hopefully I can get it to run.

Dang, them is some OLD Briggs's!!! That kickstart WM looks a lot like the old Maytag kickstarters, I wonder if it was originally on something like a dishwasher?

Interesting find, I'll bet you could get some $ for them in the collector's world.
