Saw engine on bicycle

just mount the engine where the pulley on the engine is pushed down on the rear wheel and make it a friction drive?

how would i mount it?
Also it dosent stick out enough could i weld a cylinder on it or something?

ya usually there is a really big belt and a really big plastic pully a little smaller than the size of the back wheel. it has notches so that the pulley mounts to the spokes . that kinda messes up your gear shift plan

on the other hand the pulley on the crank would work but you would have to hack of the pedal on the sprocket side

ok so took the back wheel off the $10 pocket rocket removed the sprocket then found a v-belt pulley on an old water pump at my g-mas house drilled holes in the pulley and mounted it to the wheel.
so now just engine mounting and we'll have a badass bike on our hands!

Ok, so this is obvious but I didn't see it coming, after I did all the work on the pulley and the wheel, guess what? The big fat pocket rocket tire dosen't fit where the skinny bike tire should go, lol. So should I try to find a different frame, or find a skinnier tire, or what? The tire has to be smaller because it's a small pulley. Also what ratio should I be looking for with this engine? Acceleration is more important than top speed because it will be rode around downtown.

Use your arms, I can barely pick up my own fat But I can bend the rear end of a bike. Just grab it and spread it apart.

There's no way I'll bend it far enough, it needs to go like a foot and a half. So do you with a 1 1/2 in. driving pulley and a 6 in. driven pulley, what size wheel should I get and where could I get one?
