Safe and good way to raise engine 2"

I bolted my torque converter to the engine and I need to raise it up 2" to clear. And we have already welded the plate in. Anybody got any ideas without cutting it out and welding a 2" square tube around the parameter and rewelding it back in ?

I don't see why you would need to raise the engine...

would you mind adding the engine and TC to the picture (on the frame of course)
for us to see what's the issue?

If it's a TaV2 Kit for example you can rotate the backplate even to a vertical position to clear the frame/axle whatever.

You could use some rectangle tube. I did.mine is 3 inches tall, 5" wide and 12" long

Its a barstool racer. And the engine is the new clone style so the plate is rotated as far as it will go without cutting the cylinder head fins off. I already had to cut the end off the dipstick to clear that. And I don't have a good pic, I tried earlier but my iPad didn't want to cooperate. I will take a good one tomorrow.

IMO, the last thing you want to do is raise the engine; The CoG will already be super high, you want to keep the engine weight as low as possible...

Thanks Sid that guy has some cool stuff brewing, but after some thought raising the engine a 1-1/2" to clear the frame will still make my seat lower for a better gravity area instead of turning the converter upright.

It just has a 2x4 under it for reference..........
