I just heard the news that former South African president, political prisoner & nobel peace prize winner Nelson Mandela has died aged 95.

I'm sure his passing will be felt wordwide...

Amen. His passing just points out how big the vacuum concerning honesty and integrity is when it comes to people in high office around the world today.....

Sad news indeed. He was one of the good guys- too few and far between not only in politics but in the human population as well.

Sad news indeed. He was one of the good guys- too few and far between not only in politics but in the human population as well.

Indeed. Society in general has turned me into a bit of a misanthropist, but people like him give me hope for the human race.

I wish I would've had the pleasure of shaking his hand, and to thank him, for being an example of how human beings should behave.

It is sad that he has passed away. He has been on his deathbed for months now, but the government kept on saying he was doing well (typical). Most people actually thought that he had already died, and the government was just making up that he was still alive.

It is also sad that his children have been fighting over his money the last month or two, court cases and everything, while he was still alive. Terrible!!
