i saw a post in a group im in of this chopper pedal bike with a 196cc, but to make it fit the frame they twisted it so the jug is facing up and bottom of block facing rear tire ill include pictures of the bike for visual, i know it says 49cc on it but its just a sticker for fooling authorities is what i read, unless it is a 49cc? but im not sure they come that small in these motors

my question is these are splash lubricated, and i wonder if the oil level is high enough that the dipper on the rod splash's with it being on this angle

if it dosent maybe they just overfilled with oil to compensate? but wouldnt that blow crank seals unless vented and if vented wouldent it just push the excess oil out or does it depends on the vent location do u think?

reasoning for wanting this info is i have the same bike pretty much and the 80cc two stroke sounds great but isent that powerfull as long as oiling isent an issure in the future id love to put a 196 or 212 on the bike for more torque
thanks for any info!chopper 196cc.jpgchopper 196cc 2.jpg

heres some pic of my chopper bike, it isent finished im missing a bolt for other mirror, and the expansion pipe has to be welded on and a few other small things but runs fine straight piped just not as much torque

the expansion pipe should increase torque a bit but eventually putting a 196 or bigger on would be ideal

the half put on grip on throttle isent staying, i half got it on while drinking and gave up lol she tight aswell as the zip tied tank is temporary as ill be getting a plastic tank like on the bike behind it
