What goes here? Was told it was a mounting plate for a "part," that is belt driven, and turns a small chain sprocket of some sort that links up to the larger one on the axel (rear diff? Jack shaft?) still working on my terminology, Bare with me.
Anyway, I haven't been able to find It on any exploded go kart diagrams or parts websites. I'm ordering parts left and right but without power to the wheels it's all pointless.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like need a jackshaft mount, jackshaft and driven unit. All that is there is the driver.
Probably cheaper just to get a knock off 30 series from ebay.

If you look closely at the drive clutch that is there you can clearly see it is not a 30 series that is on there. It does look like a 40 series though. If that is infact the case a 30 series will be too small (power wise) and you will have given the poor guy bad advise.
Get the proper jackshaft, belt and driven clutch. Better pictures will help us identify what you will need. Let us know make and or model too if possible.

The (torque converter I assume?) says comet on the side. Couldn't find a model number or anything along those lines. I will measure it and compare dimensions online. I have another part that the belt runs to with a key way and what appears to be a spring somewhat visible from the outside, I assume that's the driven clutch? And that I need the same size bore for the jackshaft itself. Just having trouble finding a mount that has a 4 bolt pattern To bolt it to. I saw one on eBay but it didn't have a lot of info as far as mounting dimensions. I will update soon with more pictures as soon as I Lear to post them on here. Lol.
