Hey guys, just wondering if its possible to wire up headlights straight off the engine, I'd much rather do this than use a battery. thanks

Hey Miles, does you engine just have 1 wire coming out of it, that's connected to your kill switch?

Or is there also 2 other additional wires that are not connected to anything?

I would reccomend having a battery of some sort, a small sla would be best, so then you have a constant 12v to the lights so they don't dim and brighten with driving, and also, wouldn't it be a pain to kill the engine, and have no lights?

You could build something like they use on bike wheels for those little blinking headlights. It wouldn't give you any real light though and it would blink constantly...
